Pedestrian killed in Joplin accident

Pedestrian Hit Joplin Missouri in Joplin, Missouri: A pedestrian was killed in a crash involving one vehicle and one pedestrian in Joplin. First responders were dispatched just before 9 p.m. Thursday to the area of 32nd Street and Range Line Road after an adult pedestrian entered traffic to cross Range Line Road from east to west and was struck. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Joplin Police Department's Major Crash Team is investigating the crash. Southbound traffic on Range Line Road was shut down for an extended period during the investigation due to rain.
