Pedestrian killed in early morning traffic accident in Aiken
Hit And Run South Carolina Today in South Carolina: A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Aiken, South Carolina on a Thursday morning at approximately 5:46 a.m. The Aiken County Coroner's Office responded to the area of Rutland Drive and Northland Boulevard regarding an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, identified as Norris of Chesnee, S.C., was pronounced deceased on scene at 6:27 a.m. Charles Blase Engasser of Aiken turned himself in to Aiken Public Safety later the same day and was placed on hold for hit and run at the Aiken County Detention Center.
