Pedestrian killed after being hit by a car on Gardiner Lane…

Pedestrian Hit Louisville Kentucky in Louisville, Kentucky: A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a car late Thursday night in Louisville, Kentucky. Louisville Metro Police officers responded around 10:45 p.m. to the 1900 block of Gardiner Lane, between Poplar Level Road and Newburg Road, just south of Interstate 264. Officers found a man injured after being hit by a car; he was transported by EMS to UofL Hospital, where he died. The driver of the car remained on scene, and LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating the crash; no charges had been filed as reported.
