Car Crash Mcpherson County Kansas in McPherson County, Kansas: A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 135 about seven miles north of McPherson County killed a 58-year-old woman from Salina and seriously injured a 58-year-old male driver, also from Salina. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the driver attempted to pass another vehicle in the left lane, lost control, entered the west ditch, struck an embankment, and hit a tree on the passenger side before coming to rest facing northbound. The driver was transported to the hospital with suspected serious injuries, while the passenger died from a fatal injury.
