One injured in single-vehicle crash

Car Crash North Carolina Today in North Carolina: One person was seriously injured after their truck rolled multiple times during a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 601 in Davie County. A North Carolina State Highway Patrol trooper said witnesses reported seeing the truck cross the centerline while traveling south, travel off the roadway, strike an embankment, then a culvert pipe, and flip at least five times before coming to rest on its roof. The sole occupant was removed from the vehicle and transported by ambulance to the hospital with serious injuries. A secondary minor crash between two separate vehicles occurred as a result of the first crash but caused no injuries.
