Car Crash Florida Today in Florida: A 24-year-old Ocala man, De'Shawn Vonkei Williams, was arrested in connection with a deadly crash that occurred on April 19 at the intersection of Pine Road and Hemlock Road in Marion County. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Williams was driving 90 mph in a 30 mph zone when the collision occurred, and his excessive speed and reckless operation of the vehicle led to the crash. He faces one count of vehicular homicide and six counts of reckless driving and was booked into the Marion County Jail. A 47-year-old Ocala woman, a passenger in the second vehicle, was killed in the collision.
