Hit And Run Union Township New Jersey in Union Township, New Jersey: A wrong-way driver fleeing the scene of multiple hit-and-runs in Union Township collided head-on with a Toyota Prius while traveling the wrong way at high speed, causing a fiery crash that left one person dead. A Dodge Charger driven by a 71-year-old Union resident first struck multiple vehicles between the Lowe's shopping center and a BP gas station on Morris Avenue before continuing toward the intersection of Morris and Colonial avenues. A third vehicle, a Subaru sedan driven by a 24-year-old Union resident, was also struck and the driver sustained minor injuries. The 66-year-old woman driving the Prius was taken to University Hospital, where she later died from her injuries, and the driver of the Dodge Charger was hospitalized and remains under observation.
