Hit And Run Las Cruces New Mexico in Las Cruces, New Mexico: Kimberly Ann Skaggs, Treasurer of the Republican Party of New Mexico, was charged with two felonies after allegedly leaving the scene of a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed 40-year-old bicyclist Andrew R. Brown in the Fairacres area of Las Cruces on June 22, 2026. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 4:14 p.m. near 850 N. Skaggs was booked into the Doña Ana County Detention Center the same day on charges including Knowingly Leaving the Scene of an Accident (Great Bodily Harm or Death), a third-degree felony.
