New Mexico GOP treasurer charged in fatal Las Cruces crash

Pedestrian Hit Las Cruces New Mexico in Las Cruces, New Mexico: Kimberly Skaggs, treasurer for the Republican Party of New Mexico, was driving on Monday afternoon in Las Cruces when she struck a man crossing the street. The man died from his injuries. Deputies said Skaggs left the scene of the crash; witnesses identified the vehicle she was driving, and deputies arrested her.
