Shooting Neptune Township New Jersey in Neptune Township, New Jersey: A woman was shot in the parking lot of a QuickChek near the Asbury circle on Route 35 in Neptune Township, New Jersey, on Monday. According to police, four men approached the woman's silver Honda in an attempt to confront her, and as her car began to leave the parking lot, a man identified as Edwards produced a handgun and fired one round toward her vehicle. The woman was hit twice, once in the shoulder and once in the lip, and survived the shooting. The case was investigated by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Bureau, the prosecutor's Gang Unit, and Neptune Township Police.
