Man stabbed multiple times in attempted homicide in Lancast…

Assault Pennsylvania Today in Pennsylvania: Roberto Vazguez-Cruz, 50, was charged with attempted homicide after stabbing a man multiple times around 9:30 p.m. on June 24 in the 600 block of East Mifflin Street in Lancaster City. A witness told police Vazquez-Cruz stabbed the victim and fled the area. When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from stab wounds to both legs, left hip, chest, left arm and armpit, and left side. Police later located Vazquez-Cruz walking in the southeast area of Lancaster City; he claimed the stabbing was self defense, but police said he had no injuries consistent with an assault and his statements were false.
