Vehicle Fire Nashville Tennessee in Nashville, Tennessee: A man died after a house fire on North Fifth Street in East Nashville early Friday morning. Nashville Fire Department crews responded just after midnight and found heavy smoke and flames; vehicles in the driveway and the late hour prompted a search. Crews found the man and his two dogs inside and pulled them from the home. He was taken to Skyline Medical Center, where he later died. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Nashville Fire Department.
