Shooting South Carolina Today in South Carolina: On June 26, just after midnight, deputies responded to the 300 block of Green Rose Road in Richland County, S.C., in reference to a shooting. The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body and was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. James Taylor was taken into custody and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Investigators believe the incident is isolated.
