Shooting Orcutt California in Orcutt, California: A male juvenile was taken to the hospital Thursday evening after being shot at a residence in Orcutt, according to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff's deputies, county firefighters and an AMR ambulance were dispatched shortly before 6:30 p.m. to the home on the 800 block of Brookside Avenue. The victim suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest. The boy was taken to Marian Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
