Car Crash Beaverdam Ohio in Beaverdam, Ohio: A 48-year-old Lima woman, Rachel Young, was seriously injured after the 2013 Mack dump truck she was driving crashed near Beaverdam, Ohio, just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the truck suffered a tire blowout while westbound on U.S. 30 hauling a load of rocks, causing it to leave the roadway, enter the median, strike a guardrail, travel down an embankment, and crash onto Napoleon Road below. Young appeared to have been partially ejected but remained trapped inside the truck; she was extricated and transported by Beaverdam-Richland EMS to Lima Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. The crash also damaged Napoleon Road, which will be temporarily closed for repairs, and the crash remains under investigation.
