Car Crash Beaverdam Ohio in Beaverdam, Ohio: A Lima woman was seriously injured after the dump truck she was driving crashed near Beaverdam just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 48-year-old Rachel Young of Lima was driving a 2013 Mack dump truck westbound on U.S. 30 while hauling a load of rocks when the truck suffered a tire blowout, causing it to leave the left side of the roadway and enter the median. The truck then struck a guardrail, traveled down an embankment and crashed onto the pavement of Napoleon Road below. Young appeared to have been partially ejected but remained trapped inside the truck; she was extricated and transported by Beaverdam-Richland EMS to Lima Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, and the crash remains under investigation.
