Pedestrian Hit Half Moon Bay California in Half Moon Bay, California: A lifeguard driving a pickup truck at Francis Beach in Half Moon Bay, California, allegedly struck a woman who was laying on the sand after becoming distracted while patrolling. Authorities were called to the scene at around 3:45 p.m. on June 24. The woman was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
