Lafayette police identify woman killed in Johnston crash

Motorcycle Crash Lafayette Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana: A 50-year-old Abbeville woman died after losing control of her motorcycle and colliding with a pickup truck on Johnston Street in Lafayette. According to Lafayette Police, the woman turned onto Johnston Street from a private parking lot, lost control of the motorcycle, and struck a southbound pickup truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
