Kansas woman killed after car strikes a tree

Car Crash Mcpherson County Kansas Kansas in McPherson County Kansas, Kansas: A 2004 BMW Z4 driven by Edward D. Gray, 58, of Salina, was northbound on Interstate 135 just north of Pioneer Road, seven miles north of McPherson, when the driver lost control while attempting to pass another vehicle in the left lane. The car entered the west ditch, continued down the embankment, and struck a tree on the passenger side. A passenger, Barbara S. Gray, 58, of Salina, was transported to McPherson Center for Health where she was pronounced deceased. Both occupants were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
