Juvenile struck by vehicle on Bloomington Street
Pedestrian Hit Greencastle Indiana in Greencastle, Indiana: At approximately 5:19 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, officers from the Greencastle Police Department were dispatched to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle near Bloomington and Walnut Street. Officers located a juvenile who had been struck by a southbound 2008 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Albert Elder of Greencastle. The juvenile, riding a non-motorized scooter, crossed from the east side of Bloomington Street at Walnut Street through stopped northbound traffic into the southbound lane, where he was struck. The juvenile was awake and alert on scene and was transported to Putnam County Hospital for evaluation, with parents notified before transport.
