Car Crash Stockton Illinois in Stockton, Illinois: A Jo Daviess County deputy was injured in a rollover crash on June 25, 2026, just before 9 p.m. while driving north on N. Canyon Park Rd., about a half mile north of E. Townsend Road, responding to a report of a missing juvenile. The squad car entered a culvert, overturned, struck a utility pole and came to rest on its passenger side. The deputy exited the vehicle himself, was checked by Stockton paramedics and taken to a hospital in Galena, where he was treated and released. The Illinois State Police assisted in the crash investigation.
