Injury crash reported in Ford County - Great Bend Tribune
Car Crash Ford Kansas in Ford, Kansas: A 49-year-old motorist from Protection, Kansas, sustained what appeared to be serious injuries on Thursday after rear-ending a Peterbilt that was stopped in traffic in Ford County. The truck driver from Hoisington had no apparent injuries. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at 4:52 p.m. on U.S. 400 at 117 Road when the westbound GMC Sierra 1500 failed to yield to traffic in time and struck the rear of the stopped Peterbilt. The driver of the Sierra was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to St. Catherine Hospital in Dodge City.
