Motorcycle Crash Chicago Illinois in Chicago, Illinois: A motorcyclist was hospitalized after colliding with a sedan on the southbound Dan Ryan Expressway (Interstate 94) just after 12:15 a.m. Friday, Illinois State Police said. Investigators believe the motorcyclist failed to slow down to avoid colliding with a sedan south of 83rd Street near Chicago's Chatham neighborhood. The motorcyclist rear-ended the sedan and was ejected from the motorcycle. The sedan's driver was not injured. All southbound lanes were temporarily shut down before reopening just after 4:30 a.m.
