Car Crash Maine Today in Maine: A single-vehicle crash in Hancock County, Maine, claimed the life of a 5-year-old boy and sent his father and 10-month-old sister to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Maine State Police say Dion Campbell, 33, of Indiana, was driving when the vehicle failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 193 in TWP 22 and struck an embankment just before 11:30 pm on June 25, 2026. The child, seated in the front passenger seat, was pronounced deceased at the scene; both children were reportedly not properly restrained. The crash remains under investigation.
