Hit And Run Nashwauk Minnesota in Nashwauk, Minnesota: On June 11, 2026, at about 9:07 p.m., a white Chevrolet Equinox backed out of a parking space in the rear parking lot of Wizard's Sports Bar and Grill in Nashwauk and struck the rear passenger-side bumper of a Ford pickup truck owned by Michael Broker Jr., 25, of Nashwauk. Broker, who had been cleaning the truck's interior while wearing headphones, confronted the driver, who then used an ice scraper to shatter the pickup's rear window before leaving the scene. Greenwood Township Supervisor Craig Gilbert, 56, of Tower, was later charged in Itasca County District Court with misdemeanor leaving the scene of an accident involving an attended vehicle and third-degree property damage.
