Firefighters extinguish garbage truck fire in north Canton

Vehicle Fire Canton Georgia in Canton, Georgia: Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services responded to a commercial vehicle fire at about 8:30 a.m. on Friday in the area of Laurel Canyon Parkway in north Canton. Callers reported a garbage truck on fire in the street. Crews extinguished the flames on the fully involved garbage truck cab and checked for injured occupants; no injuries were reported.
