Fatal motorcycle crash on Highway 98 in Walton County

Motorcycle Crash Florida Today in Florida: A 27-year-old DeFuniak Springs man died following a motorcycle crash on Highway 98 in Walton County, Florida, on Thursday night shortly before 9:30 p.m. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was traveling westbound on a motorcycle in the left lane at a high rate of speed when he collided with the back of a pickup truck that was also traveling westbound in front of him. The motorcyclist died from his injuries, while the man and woman from Louisiana inside the pickup truck had no reported injuries.
