Fatal DUI crash charges for Dakota Krueger in Fond du Lac
Dui Crash Wisconsin Today in Wisconsin: Dakota Krueger, 21, of Campbellsport, was charged with one felony count of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and two misdemeanor counts of causing injury by OWI following a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Auburn that killed a 68-year-old Kewaskum woman and injured a 16-year-old Kewaskum girl. Fond du Lac Sheriff's deputies responded to the intersection of County Highway V and Mill Pond Road around 7:55 a.m. on Sunday, where they found first responders tending to the two Kewaskum occupants of one vehicle while Krueger stood behind an ambulance crying. According to the criminal complaint, Krueger attempted a left turn from southbound Mill Pond Road onto southbound County Highway V and was struck by an oncoming northbound vehicle after failing to yield the right-of-way. Krueger faces up to 27 years in prison and $104,000 in fines and was being held on $100,000 cash bail.
