Car Crash Maine Today in Maine: Maine State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a 5-year-old boy on Thursday night, June 25, at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 193 in Township 22, Hancock County. A trooper came upon the crash at approximately 11:26 p.m. and found the boy in the front passenger seat in critical condition; troopers performed life-saving measures until EMS arrived, but the child was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver, 33-year-old Dion Campbell of Indiana, and a 10-month-old girl were transported to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries; Campbell is the father of both children.
