Semi Truck Crash Arkansas Today in Arkansas: An Arkansas State Police trooper attempted a felony traffic stop on a black Mercedes-Benz C300 on Interstate 40 near the 265-mile marker on June 17, 2026, after the driver could not provide registration or insurance and a Ruger LC9s pistol was found on the shoulder. The driver, identified as Ronnie Hudson, fled and led troopers on a pursuit that exceeded 130 mph, weaving through traffic and passing on both shoulders. The Mercedes then drove the wrong way on Interstate 55 and struck a semi head-on after traveling about 15 yards. Hudson was taken into custody, complained of chest pain, and was transported by Pafford EMS to Crittenden Baptist Hospital.
