Detail Released Following Thursday Morning Accident

Car Crash Illinois Today in Illinois: The Crawford County Sheriff's Department released information about a two-vehicle accident on Route 33 at around 6:30 a.m. Thirty-six-year-old Damien Williams of Annapolis was traveling west when he crossed the centerline, striking thirty-eight-year-old Jenna Pitcher of Newton head-on. Pitcher was extricated and transported to CMH by United Life Care, along with two juveniles who were also in her vehicle. Williams was extricated and transported by Jasper County Ambulance Service to the Oblong High School football field, then airlifted to Carle Hospital in Champaign; a passenger in Williams' vehicle self-transported to CMH with suspected injuries.
