Deadly Hit-and-Run Ends With Felony Arrest

Hit And Run Lafayette Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana: A 51-year-old man was killed in an early morning hit-and-run crash on Marteau Road near Whispering Meadows Road, near Youngsville, around 3 a.m. Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office deputies identified the suspect's vehicle and arrested Brett Brignac, a 21-year-old Youngsville man, on a charge of Felony Hit-and-Run. Brignac was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. The victim was identified as Charles Kountz II.
