Pedestrian Hit Philadelphia Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: A 24-year-old construction worker was placing traffic cones in an active construction zone on the 5800 block of Lindburgh Boulevard in Philadelphia when a car veered into the bike lane to avoid traffic and struck him around 7 a.m. Thursday. The driver fled the scene. Philadelphia Fire Department medics transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
