Assault Covington Kentucky in Covington, Kentucky: A man was charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in the parking lot of a Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken on Thursday in Covington, Kentucky. According to an arrest citation, a verbal confrontation began inside the restaurant, after which suspect James Bonar was asked to leave; he then spit on a manager, hit the victim several times, and cut the victim's throat. The confrontation continued into the street, where Bonar stabbed the victim three more times before fleeing to a nearby library, where he was arrested by Covington police and interviewed.
