Pedestrian Hit Baldwin Park California in Baldwin Park, California: One person was killed Thursday evening after being struck by a Metrolink train in Baldwin Park. At approximately 7:19 p.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Baldwin Park Police Department responded to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of Garvey Avenue and Franciquito Avenue. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Metrolink temporarily suspended rail service between the El Monte and Baldwin Park stations as investigators worked at the scene; the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
