Shooting Detroit Michigan in Detroit, Michigan: Detroit police fatally shot a man while serving a search warrant in the 18900 block of Rosemont on Thursday evening around 6:30 p.m. Officers with the special response team were searching for a suspect connected to a felonious assault earlier in June. When they made entry into the home, they were met with gunfire from a subject inside, and officers returned fire, fatally wounding the suspect. Deputy Chief Arnold Williams confirmed the fatal shooting.
