Car Crash Florida Today in Florida: An 82-year-old woman was pulled from a white 2026 Cadillac XT5 SUV on Friday after being trapped for nearly 24 hours in a water-filled ditch in Indian River County. The vehicle had veered into the ditch on Thursday afternoon near the west dead end of 53rd Street and 74th Avenue, according to the Indian River County Sheriff's Office. A work crew discovered the vehicle in the ditch at about 12:36 p.m. Friday. The woman, whose identity was not released, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce.
