Motorcycle Crash Fatal Perry Township Pennsylvania in fatal Perry Township, Pennsylvania: Patrick Michael Powers, 70, of Muhlenberg Township, died in a motorcycle crash in Perry Township, Pennsylvania on Thursday. At approximately 12:39 p.m., a solo motorcycle rider traveling northbound on Route 61 (South Pottsville Pike) left the roadway and struck an embankment for reasons still under investigation. The operator was transported by ambulance to Reading Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:02 p.m. The Berks County Coroner's Office ruled the cause of death as blunt force trauma and the manner of death as accidental.
