Semi Truck Crash Connecticut Today in Connecticut: A fatal crash shut down a portion of I-291 in South Windsor, Connecticut on Friday around 2:55 p.m., according to state police. A car collided with a tractor trailer in the right lane, killing Osayande, 55, of Vernon, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer suffered minor injuries. State police said the crash remains under investigation and asked anyone with information to contact Trooper First Class John Wilson.
