40-year-old man died in big apartment fire in Lyndon

Vehicle Fire Lyndon Kentucky in Lyndon, Kentucky: A massive fire broke out at Brookside Apartments in Lyndon (Linden area) on Thursday afternoon just before 4 p.m., tearing through the roof and sending thick smoke into the air. More than 40 firefighters from Anchorage, Middletown, Saint Matthews and Jeffersontown responded and attacked the flames from the ground and above. One person was taken to the hospital with significant injuries, and one firefighter was treated at the scene for heat-related issues and released. The fire was under control within two hours, and many residents were displaced.
