4-year-old dies in hospital a week after ‘drowning incident…
Drowning Kennebunk Maine in Kennebunk, Maine: A 4-year-old girl died at a Boston hospital on Friday, nearly a week after first responders arrived at a hotel pool in Kennebunk and found her in cardiac arrest, Kennebunk Fire Rescue Chief Justin Cooper said. Kennebunk Fire Rescue received reports last Saturday morning of a child who was not breathing at the Hampton Inn Hotel. The girl had suffered a drowning incident in the hotel pool and was in cardiac arrest. After resuscitation efforts, she was taken to MaineHealth in Biddeford, then flown by medical helicopter to MaineHealth in Portland before being transferred to Boston Children's Hospital, where she died Friday afternoon. The Kennebunk Police Department is investigating the incident.
