17-year-old volunteer firefighter in ICU after head-on crash

Car Crash Ariel Washington in Ariel, Washington: A 17-year-old volunteer firefighter, Riggin Bliss, was involved in a head-on crash on Lewis River Road in Ariel, Washington. According to Washington State Patrol, another driver traveling northbound crossed into Bliss's southbound lane and struck him head-on. Bliss was hospitalized in the ICU, and the other driver, 76-year-old John Jessup of La Center, was LifeFlighted to a hospital and charged with vehicular assault.
