Car Crash Haverhill Massachusetts in Haverhill, Massachusetts: Two children were seriously injured Thursday afternoon when a bus collided with the motorized scooter they were riding at the intersection of Portland Street and 5th Avenue in Haverhill. Officers responded to the crash just before 4 p.m. and found both children suffering serious injuries; they were transported to a local hospital. A 12-year-old girl from Haverhill was later pronounced dead, according to the Essex County District Attorney's office. State police and Haverhill police are continuing to investigate.
