Car Crash Los Alamos California in Los Alamos, California: A wrong-way passenger vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 101 collided head-on with a Chumash Casino bus south of Palmer Road around 3:17 a.m. on June 26, 2026. The passenger vehicle became fully engulfed in fire upon impact, and at least one person in that vehicle was killed. All 14 people on the bus were evacuated before the fire and sustained minor injuries, transported by ground ambulance to local hospitals. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
