1 dead after fire at Lyndon apartment complex

Vehicle Fire Louisville Kentucky in Louisville, Kentucky: A man died after a fire broke out Thursday afternoon at an apartment complex off Shelbyville Road in Louisville, Kentucky. The initial call came in at 3:51 p.m. for a structure fire at Brookside Apartments at 8125 Copper Creek Drive. St. Matthews Fire Department and multiple assisting units responded, with firefighters arriving on scene in less than three minutes. One man was transported to UofL Hospital with injuries and died shortly after his arrival; no other injuries were reported.
