Hit And Run Northborough Maryland in Northborough, Maryland: A woman died and another woman was injured Wednesday night in a fiery wrong-way crash on Interstate 290 in Northborough, Massachusetts. Multiple 911 callers reported just before 9 p.m. that a car was driving the wrong way on I-290 eastbound. When state troopers arrived, they found the wrong-way car had crashed into another near exit 27; a Subaru and a Jeep were found on fire with severe front-end damage. The driver and sole occupant of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver and sole occupant of the other vehicle escaped before first responders arrived and was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials did not identify which driver was traveling the wrong way, and the crash remains under investigation.
