Car Crash Carroll Ohio in Carroll, Ohio: A three-vehicle crash in Brown Township, Carroll County, Ohio, claimed the life of a Waynesburg man on Wednesday afternoon. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by Ronald R. Romano III, 31, of Malvern, was traveling westbound and attempted to pass a truck driven by Cole Kneeper, 34, of Malvern, crossed into the eastbound lane, and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by Lee D. Meadows, 70, of Waynesburg. The truck was then struck by the vehicles involved in the head-on collision and traveled off the north side of the roadway, while the other vehicle overturned onto its roof. Meadows was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Carroll County Coroner's Office; passenger Emily N. Kneeper suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene; and Romano, who was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital. Speed is believed to be a factor, and investigators are determining whether impairment played a role.
