Aircraft Bismarck Missouri in Bismarck, Missouri: A single-engine vintage 1948 Navion aircraft crashed in a field near Lake Avalon Road in Bismarck, Missouri on Tuesday morning at 10:21 am. The pilot had taken off from Bismarck airport about 10:15 and experienced engine trouble minutes later, causing the plane to slide across the road and strike a barbed wire fence. The pilot was reportedly out of the plane and walking around when emergency personnel arrived, and no one was injured. The FAA is investigating the cause.
