First responders were called to the home at 7:30 p.m. for reports of a drowning, and family members were performing CPR when they arrived. The toddler was unconscious and not breathing when pulled from the pool and was taken to a nearby hospital in extremely critical condition, where she was pronounced dead. The Phoenix Police Department started an investigation.
