Hit And Run Hobe Sound Florida in Hobe Sound, Florida: A vehicle driven by 24-year-old Eliuvar Garza crashed into the South Martin Regional Utility North Water Treatment Plant in Hobe Sound, Florida on Wednesday night, flipping over a secured fence and striking a main transmission pipe. The crash damaged the pipe, causing water to gush out and disrupting service for approximately 7,000 customers who were placed under a precautionary boil water notice. Garza reportedly fled the scene but was later taken to a hospital by a family member for injuries sustained in the crash. Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek stated Garza is not legally allowed to drive and does not have personal insurance.
